Discord, a popular communication software for gamers, has been a game-changer since arriving on PlayStation and Xbox. For the first time, you can finally talk with your friends while playing games across PC and consoles, enhancing the gaming experience. According to the official press release, Discord is enhancing the overall Xbox experience on all consoles, including Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The latest Discord Xbox update will allow Xbox gamers to watch their friends’ streams directly from the console.

No matter what device your friends are using to stream – PC, console, or phone, you can watch their gameplay as long as you’re signed in to Discord.
Furthermore, you can now see the list of all your Xbox friends who are chatting on the voice channel on Discord. They’ll show up under a section called “Happening Now.”
The best part? You don’t need your phone to join their chats and voice calls anymore. Discord is now built right into Xbox, so you can talk to your friends directly from your console.
These new Discord features are available now for Xbox gamers who are enrolled in the Insider program. The rest of us will have to wait a bit longer, but it shouldn’t be too long.
