Hey Fortnite lovers, good news for you. Fortnite has released a new v28.10 update, bringing a new crossover with the Metal Gear franchise, adding the iconic character Solid Snake to its popular free-to-play battle royale game. The update also includes new items, map changes, and more.
Solid Snake is one of the most popular characters in video games, best known for his stealth and tactical skills. He is now available in Fortnite as part of the Solid Snake Bundle, which includes the Solid Snake Outfit, Stun Knife Pickaxe, Metal Gear MK II Back Bling, Slider Glider, Snake Skin Wrap, and emotes.
Solid Snake Into Fortnite
Players who own the Big Bang Battle Pass and complete the Solid Snake quest will be rewarded with his outfits and accessories. The Big Bang Battle Pass for Chapter 5 โ Season 1 can be purchased for 950 V-Bucks, and 1,000 V-Bucks can be purchased from the in-game store for $8.99. Quests will be available until March 8, 2024, 2 PM ET.

Complete four Page 1 quests to unlock the Solid Snake outfit and a Page 2 quest. Page 1 quests can be completed in any order.
Hide in the cardboard box for 10 seconds

Deal 250 damage to opponents within 10 meters.
Try to remember some of the basics of CQC. Unlocks the Stun Knife Pickaxe.
Deal 50 damage to opponents with explosives
The sound of the explosive will alert your enemies, so be careful. Unlock the solid profile spray.
Deal 500 damage to opponents with Assault Rifles
I donโt like wasting bullets. Unlocks the! Emote
Break 2 security cameras or turrets
A surveillance camera!? Unlocks one! Banner icon.

Deal 2500 damage to opponents with Suppressive Weapon

Use EMP Stealth Camo 3 times
Goal: To remain autocratic. Unlocks Metal Gear MK. II Back Bling.
Use the hiding place in 5 different matches
Can never get enough covert ops training. Reveals the hidden? Emoticon.
Help open 3 vaults or hack 3 train heist chests
There isnโt a system you canโt bust into! Unlocks the Slider Glider.
Damage 10 different enemy players before they damage you
You are very nice. Unlocks the snakeskin cover.

The update also adds two new items: the EMP Stealth Camo and the Cardboard Box. EMP Stealth Camo is a device that makes the user nearly invisible, and also when deactivating, youโll unleash an EMP effect, that damages enemy shields and stops nearby vehicles. A cardboard box is a simple but effective hiding tool that allows the user to blend in with the environment.
The update also includes some balancing changes, such as the unvaulted Anvil rocket launcher, which can lock onto vehicles and cause massive damage. The Enforcer AR, Reaper Sniper Rifle, Hyper SMG, and Ballistic Shield have also received some adjustments to their stats and performance.
