Gmail is quietly rolling out a new addition that lets Users Unsubscribe from Unwanted emails with a single tap but only for iOS users. The new feature allows users to instantly unsubscribe from promotional emails, newsletters, and subscriptions with just a simple tap-on button. Now, they don’t have to search for the unsubscribe option or link in the message.
According to Android Authority, they found an “Unsubscribe” button in Gmail for iOS that was located just below the email’s subject line or next to the sender’s name, but above the email content. You can take a look at the screenshots below and get a clear understanding of this new addition.
Gmail Added A New Unsubscribe Button For iOS
This new way to unsubscribe with just one tap is a big addition. It shows that Gmail wants to help you handle your emails better, making your inbox less crowded and saving you time. With this update, it’s easier to control your emails and keep your inbox organized without any hassle.
The feature is available in the most recent version of the Gmail app for iOS, version 6.0.231127. If you can’t find this option in your Gmail app, you might want to check the App Store to see if there’s an update available for you to download.
Sadly, the one-tap unsubscribe button is not currently available for Gmail on Android devices. However, it is expected that this feature will soon become available for Android users soon.
