At RDC 2024, Roblox introduced some exciting and cool new features and updates coming in the future updates. They introduced a new “Party” feature that lets players have fun together. Roblox’s New Party Feature: Brings PeopleTogether
Roblox is all about bringing people together and making gaming a fun experience. At RDC 2024, Roblox announced the new Party feature, that will make it easier for friends (age 9+) to join and play together. With this new addition, friends can join the same game experience.

The Party feature also allows players to use text and voice chat, even outside of games. Roblox plans to add an API next year to help developers integrate the Party feature into their games, making it possible for friends to group up into a party and start together at the same point in a game. The feature will also pre-pair the friends or add them in a private lobby to play together.

Roblox Rebranding Groups to Communities
Alongside the Party feature, Roblox is also rebranding its Groups to Communities. This change aims to improve how developers communicate with their player base. The Communities will support better tools, like Forums, where players can discuss game-related topics, share their gameplay experiences, or chat with other fans.

New Platform-Wide Features: Music in Roblox
At RDC 2024, Roblox also announced two new platform-wide features: ‘What’s Playing’ and ‘Music Charts.’ These features are designed to highlight the popular and trending music and artists on Roblox, giving musicians a chance to connect with a wider audience. Players will also find it easier to discover and enjoy their favourite songs by using Roblox music codes.
